We are the Notable Toucans; the proud paper makers of Neva King Cooper Educational Center. With funds earned from an educational grant, our students are able to make paper from recycled paper. The students from Ms. Getchell’s class and Mrs. Ibarra’s class are enthusiastically learning the steps involved in making: NOTEPAPER, BOOKMARKERS, and REFRIGERATOR MAGNETS. The products have already been sold through our P.T.A. and during this year’s Open House. The students will eventually vote on how to spend their proceeds. Way to go Toucans!!
Enrique Santos visited Neva King Cooper Educational Center our school during Hispanic Heritage Month. Needless to say, we were honored and extremely grateful for his visit and gifts from his radio show’s production crew (98.3 Mix).
